Teacher Edition · Lesson Planning
LANGUAGE! adjusts for small groups.
LANGUAGE! instruction also can be customized to meet the specific needs of small groups of students.
Assessment data identify students' instructional needs and provide guidelines for differentiating instruction
based on those needs. Students can be grouped flexibly according to common instructional needs.
Within each step of a lesson, students can work--independently or in small groups--on the same
content and skills but with different materials or media.
The Planning and Pacing Guides and the Prescriptive Teaching boxes suggest:
·
Activities to reinforce or reteach concepts, content, and skills
·
The technology tools appropriate for additional practice or reinforcement
·
Use of LANGUAGE! eReader CD for universal access by providing an audiovisual presentation
of all Instructional Text selections
·
Extra activities, such as Folder Activities, that can be used for specific skill weaknesses
